Waco Garden Calendar: May

May is not a big month for planting, at least in your vegetable garden (which is what is tracked here).   There's only two veggies that can still be planted from this month, and just a few more that can be planted from transplants.   This is the last month for a while to plant any of these.  Notice they are all in bold?  That's how I note when its the last month to plant things in the season.  

Direct Seed/Plant Sets

Southern Peas (before May 20)
Sweet Potato (slips)

Transplant
Cantaloupe (before May 15)

Melon (Spanish) (before May 15)

Onion (bunching) (before May 15)

Watermelon (before May 15)
